What is NEPAN?

NEPAN is a clinical network of anaesthetists and intensivists with an interest in paediatric anaesthesia. All acute trusts in the Northen Region are represented.The current commitee members are listed below.

What do we do?

Our aims include:
  • To promote collaboration between anaesthetists in specialist and non-specialist hospitals.
  • To support the acquisition of knowledge for anaesthetists at all stages of their careers.
  • To promote the highest standards of perioperative care for children throughout the region..
  • How do we do it?

    The committee meet regularly (approimately every two months). We aim to organise a one day educational meeting each year and to complete at least one regional clinical audit annually.
